Nexos is a converged gaming platform based on
3GPP standards that facilitates fixed mobile convergence
for the gaming industry. The Nexos platform allows
developers to rapidly integrate IP Multimedia Subsystem
(IMS) communication services with game content.
Nexos employs a client-server architecture that
connects Game Content Servers and IMS networks allowing
for the integration, creation and management of
game-related services.
With Nexos, game publishers and developers can leverage
the integration of pre-built and customizable community-rich
services for online delivery, leaving them more
time to focus on their core business – creating
compelling and creative game content. Nexos employs
a modular software approach that maximizes the re-use
of common network service functions and enablers
contained within next generation networks.
The benefits of the Nexos Converged IMS Gaming
Platform:
 |
• Enables standardized community and
in-game communication services across multiple
domains (mobile, broadband, WiFi) and devices.
• Nexos lowers development costs for
both network operators and game developers
by providing pre-built customizable game-related
services.
• Provides a rapid application development
environment for game-related community and
communication services supporting an extensive
array of compelling content and “sticky”
services.
• Generates income opportunities with
the ability to provide additional revenue
streams through subscription based models,
in-game advertising and pay-per-play.
